User Class Setting – Post Batches and Edit Post Batch Date
– Can Post Batches
The User Classes screen has been enhanced to include a new “Can Post Batches” setting. When the user’s assigned User Class does not have the setting enabled the Post button will be disabled regardless of whether values are present in the Issue Now/Complete Now fields, preventing the user from posting. Note, with the addition of this setting, it is enabled for all existing user classes by default.
– Can Edit Post Batch Date
The User Classes screen has been enhanced to include a new “Can Edit Batch Post Date” setting. The Post date field on the Post Batch Transactions popup window and Transaction date in the Posting group of the ribbon Home tab will be disabled if the user’s assigned User Class does not have the setting enabled. Note, with the addition of this setting, it is enabled for all existing user classes by default.
Ability to Control Quantity Selected in Lot Search Window
In GP integrations, the Lot Search window invoked from Batch Entry has been enhanced with a “Qty to Assign” field. This provides the user with the ability to designate the quantity to be assigned to an ingredient. Previously, the only option was to select the entire lot quantity available.
Backflush Whole Number Quantity on BOM Items
When backflushing BOM materials for End Items, it is now possible to control whether to issue a quantity as a whole number (specifically using ceiling) or a decimal. This setting is controlled at the component level, through Component Entry where a new “Backflush whole number quantity (ceiling)” has been added.
BC Cloud Enhancement – Populate Vicinity Fields on Value Entry Adjustments
When Vicinity writes inventory transactions to BC Cloud there are potentially two value entries recorded—one based on the Last Direct Cost, and one based on the calculated difference between the Last Direct Cost and the actual lot cost. Previously, the four custom Vicinity fields (e.g., Facility ID, Batch No., Line ID No., Event ID No.) were only populated on the Last Direct Cost value entry records. All four Vicinity custom fields are now populated for all associated value entry records.
MRP to BC Requisition Worksheet Integration
Added requisition worksheet support for BC Cloud integrations.
