As summer is winding down things are just starting to heat up around the annual Dynamics Communities User Group Summit events.
The 2018 GPUG and NAVUG Summit will be held October 15th- 18th, in Phoenix, Arizona. GPUG Summit is the largest and most inclusive event for Microsoft Dynamics and other technology professionals. The event is an ideal location for finding partners and software providers with the solutions for your specific needs. The Vicinity team is excited to be a Gold sponsor for both GPUG and NAVUG, as we attend the event for our fifth consecutive year. Vicinity software serves formula-based manufacturers in the chemical, food, and brewing markets. Founded in 2001, Vicinity is known for introducing the first ERP software product for formula-based manufacturing in the Microsoft Dynamics® Reseller space.
Exclusively designed for batch manufacturing, Vicinity software caters its feature set to the unique batch processing, scheduling, and quality control needs of formula manufacturers. By integrating our manufacturing suite with Microsoft Dynamics ERP, we can deliver increased visibility into real-time inventory counts as well as limited costing capabilities.
October will come right on the heels of our latest release, Vicinity 4.24. One of our stand out features in this version is the ability to customize screens with specific field labels. This is great for clients who have industry-specific terminology or companies who need screens translated into another language. These new screen customizations build on past development that allows users to adjust what information is presented on screens by selecting or re-organizing specific sections, fields, and columns of data to present the most pertinent information for a particular user.
We will be highlighting new features and functionality with our software which includes, but is not limited to:
- Production Planning Enhancements – New controls and settings for a more powerful Material Requirements Planning (MRP) engine.
- New Screens –
- Advanced Formula Search – Multi-level querying
- Browser-based Batch Entry
- Gantt Chart Production Schedule
- Customer Experience, Adjusting Visible Fields/Columns
- Interlinking Between Fields and Associated Records
- Enhanced Analysis via Power Query Tool, VicinityView
